Payton had publicly criticized Hackett suggesting his coaching performance in Denver last year might have been the worst in NFL history.

Rodgers spoke fondly of his time with Hackett in Green Bay emphasizing their successful years together and praising Hackett's coaching skills.

He also highlighted Hackett's qualities as a family man and father expressing great admiration for him both on and off the field.

Rodgers credited Hacketts hiring by the New York Jets as a significant factor in his decision to join the team.

The star quarterback did not mince words when addressing Paytons remarks considering them both inappropriate and an act of insecurity.

Rodgers questioned Payton's need to criticize another coach to protect himself from potential criticism if his team performed poorly in the upcoming season.

Calling for mutual respect among coaches and maintaining professionalism within the NFL community Rodgers firmly urged Payton to refrain from publicly disparaging his fellow colleagues.

As the Week 4 matchup between the Jets and the Broncos looms Rodgers and Hackett are determined to prove that Paytons comments won't affect their on-field performance.

The clash promises to be intense as the Jets seek revenge aiming to show that their offensive coordinator is worthy of respect and recognition.
